PROGRAMS & SERVICES
Hospice King-Aurora is a volunteer-based community hospice with more than 100 volunteers trained and supported by professionals. All programs are offered free of charge to individuals living with life-threatening illness, the people who care for them and those who are bereaved.
Professionally trained and supported volunteers offer non-medical services to individuals living with life-threatening illness and their families.
Certified professionals volunteer their time to provide services that promote health & wellbeing. Programs include yoga, meditation, walking, Picking Up the Pieces post-cancer group, 1:1 modalities such as reflexology, Reiki, healing touch, etc.
Group support and wellness programs are available to adults caring for a seriously ill loved one. Support is also available to children & teens coping with the serious illness of a family member.
Educational seminars and workshops on issues of hospice palliative care, grief, bereavement and family caregiving can be tailored to your needs.

AWARENESS & EDUCATION
Group & 1:1 support and wellness programs are available to children, teens & adults coping with the death of a family member or friend.
SERVICE AREA:
King Township, south Aurora & Richmond Hill
Individuals from other areas of York Region are welcome to attend if programs are not available at their local hospice.
